TV: Spartacus – Blood & Sand

16 Jan

Here’s something new to me, I have started watching a show called Spartacus and am starting to like it! If you are a fan of movies such 300 and all those Roman battles, you will definitely love this TV show. Through the years there have been so many shows and movies with the same name, but the difference is that this one has so many amazing graphics with lots of blood :P it’s not my type of shows, but somehow i have seen 3 episodes so far (each episode is 50 mins) and am really enjoying it!

The story is about an amazing gladiator is the Roman time, it’s all about battles, war and sex. So there is no way you should watch this with kids around, when they say blood and sand, they really mean LOTS of blood and sand.

I was sad to find out that the actor was diagnosed with cancer after season one, and after 6 months of treatment he was ready to go on with season 2, but sadly again it came back and now he’s up for another treatment. It’s still not confirmed whether they will replace him with another actor and continue with season 2 or wait for him to get better.

    Hallo!
Ich habe mir en Trailer angeschaut und bin begeistert. Es sieht so aus als wäre diese Serie im Stil von “300” gemacht. Sehr schick. Soll diese Serie auch auf den deutschen Markt kommen?
