Abu Dhabi: Ferrari World

7 Mar

I have wanted to write this post for a while but i have been busy and this supposed to be a heavy post, so here you go.

So while i was in Dubai, we have decided to hit Abu Dhabi and checkout Ferrari World that everyone been talking about. We were doubting the idea cuz we have been hearing mixed feedback from people who went there, it’s either they were amazed by it, or were really bummed and said it’s not worth it. For me, i was excited either ways, i have been always a fan of cars not only Ferrari, and am on a holiday, so why wouldn’t it be fun!

If you remember my previous post about Yas Hotel that we were staying in, you can see that it’s so close to Ferrari World that it took us less than 5 minutes by car, and that’s just cuz the area is full of traffic lights, it should be 2 minutes only. Once we arrived to it, i was amazed of how big the building is and how beautiful is the structure, and it got me wondering how much did it cost, and how long did it take them, cuz the place is simply huge and perfectly made.

We started by hitting the Ferrari store, it has almost everything for the Ferrari fans in all ages. The stuff might be abit overpriced, but i wouldn’t expect them to be cheaper than that actually, cuz it’s just FERRARI! After we were done, the journey started. There were many games to try, whether it’s a rollercoaster, a 3D game, or a simulator, they were all cool and worth trying. It’s gonna be hard for me to explain each, but I’ll give u a few points:

1. The 3D games might get you dizzy if you were a person like me!

2. The simulators are amazing, there are 2 types, the one you race with 7 other people, or the one you ride a real Ferrari and race by yourself. I was a fool to think it was an easy thing to do!

3. The rollercoasters, there are 2 types, one of them is the fastest rollercoaster that’s ever been made, which i didn’t get the chance to try cuz no one wanted to ride with me, and secondly cuz i was dizzy and just ate, so i gave the other one a shot and it was cool, the way the rollercoaster speed feels like a real car speeding.

4. V12 was the only disappointing game ever.

Now I’ll leave you with more pictures, if you have any question please do ask! but all i can say is that Ferrari world is definitely worth it, it’s not a place for kids only like everyone used to say, and its definitely the place to be for Ferrari  & cars lovers.

I always wanted to go to Ferrari World, But every time I think of it seriously, something pops up and I delay the trip.

I guess I will go as soon as I can before I spend my money on a new car :P

well, it depends if you are planning to go to dubai first or just go to abu dhabi. If you wana do a weekend thing, i suggest you book a flight direct to abu dhabi, stay at yas hotel or any other, most of them they can give you a package that include tickets for Ferrari world :) wana do it easier? just go to any travel agency here and they can arrange the whole thing for you!
