It was the birthday of my buddy at work and she wanted to go visit Baked for a while so we decided to have our meal there, and the same time it was my first visit to 52 degrees, I’ll be posting pics in another post.
The place was neat and cute somehow, the menu was small but had a lot of yummy stuff that made it hard for us to decide. As both of us were very hungry and been craving a good meal for a long time, it kinda made it worse cuz we kinda wanted everything on the menu :P
The service was good, but somehow slow, i mean there was only 2 tables busy and still the waiter couldn’t manage between us both, but it was ok i guess, again maybe cuz we were extra hungry :P So we placed our order and went to check out the dessert section and drool some more.
Everything looked so goooood, and it’s definitely not a great idea to look at it when ur really hungry! So i had an idea about what they have and decided to save a little space for it ;)
The starters came; we had the potato balls and the shrimp ginger salad. Both tasted awesome, the shrimp ginger was delicious, the potato too but i think it needed some salt.
Then the main dish came and ohhh myyy…just thinking about it now makes me wana go there again. We made an order of Lemon Beef Linguine and Pesto Pasta. Am not the type of people who would have spaghetti outside the house cuz of all the mess it can make :P and specially that it was with meat too, but i didn’t regret my order, i totally loved it.
However we kinda got our drinks after we were served all the dishes! I believe drinks should be served first. And i was surprised that they served the coke in CANS! I mean everything looks fancy why the cans!
after whipping the dishes inside out, it was time for desert :D it was a very hard decision to take cuz there was so many options, but we ended up with the Brownie Cup which was really GOOD! And again we had a problem with the waiter as it took them forever to serve an espresso
Before we leave, i was tempted to try their cookies! So i made sure to take 3 kinds of cookies with a brownie for a late night snack, believe me, and if you want a heavenly cookie try the brownie stuffed cookie.
Overall, i loved the place, its quiet and elegant, the food is GREAT! It’s just the service, which i believe cuz they are starting new. So all the best of luck to the owners, we wish u all the best :D
